Dear darling kitties, My

Dear darling kitties,

My sweet, petite, purring balls of fur,

know that I love you.

Of that, you can be sure. 

I'll be off to college soon, and I have to leave you behind.

But that doesn't mean this is goodbye

because me you always find. 

It pains me greatly to think of life without you,

but I'll visit regularly.

So do not bond with my brothers too,

just stay true to me. 

If I came home to find you didn't love me as much as before,

I would be shattered and may as well be poor.

Your love gives me peace

and is much more important than my lease.

If college is too much for me,

I know I can come home to you.

I'll be back for Christmas break, you'll see.

So be good and wait for me.
